Nourri de noise et de rythmiques acoustiques et électroniques, ce solo nous amène à une transe et une danse singulière, un tunnel de son qui nous fait voyager de l’univers de Keiji Haino à celui plus onirique de Ken Ikeda en passant par des influences kraut rock ainsi que l’énergie rebelle du free jazz des années 60. Sur cet album, se croisent une batterie, un synthétiseur analogique et un sampler.

Dans la continuité des groupes Tribalism3 et Håla Duett, inspirés de rythmiques d’ici et là, « ktbh » le slogan des démocrates australiens dans les années 80 est une façon de dire que tous les politiciens sont corrompus, et que l’on va s’occuper de ça.

Nous sommes déjà au 21e siècle et tout reste à faire. Et puisque tout reste à faire comme le dit le titre phare du disque à venir, basé sur un ostinato de synthétiseur analogique répétitif et une tourne de batterie sans fin « You can do it ». « Free the music » composé à l’aide d’une tampoura indienne synthétique et d’un pattern de batterie sans rythme est un slogan parfait pour dire que si je peux le faire, vous aussi. Une manière ironique de faire le parallèle avec les méthodes que l’on utilise aujourd’hui pour produire le son.

Joss Turnbull is known for his creative take on different middle eastern drums such as Tombak, Mazahr and Reqq. The Iranian goblet drum Tombak is the center piece of his work. His sound ranges from minimalistic musical explorations of the instrument through fingers, palms, fingernails and preparations to more extreme and raw soundscapes, supplemented by electronics. Over the years concerts as a solo artist and as a member of international acclaimend ensembles have taken him through Europe, Japan the UAE and the USA.

Tombak、Mazahr、Reqqといった中近東の太鼓を独創的に演奏することで知られている。彼の演奏、作品のメイン楽器はイランのゴブレット型ドラムであるTombakである。彼のサウンドは、指、手のひら、爪、プリペアドによる、楽器のミニマルな音楽的探求から、エレクトロニクスを使用した、より過激で生々しいサウンドスケープまで多岐にわたる。ソロ・アーティストとして、また国際的に高い評価を得ているアンサンブルのメンバーとして、長年にわたりヨーロッパ、日本、アラブ首長国連邦、アメリカなどでコンサートを開催してい

Saori Kojima    児嶋佐織 / theremin(テルミン)

Since 2007, she has been playing theremin in "Sizzle Ohtaka & asian wings".

Since 2009, she has been active in the ambient unit "Tanzaku" with Kohsetsu Imanishi (koto).

In 2013, she participated in the premiere of "Will this moment ever let go?" by leading Norwegian contemporary composer Magnar Åm, performing throughout Norway and the country.

In the same year, she participated in the twin theremin psychedelic progressive unit " andmo' ", and released their 1st album "Unidentified Mystic Aether".

In 2018, she appeared on ABC TV's "Agent WEST!", teaching theremin to WEST.

She is involved in a variety of genre-less performances and has performed with many musicians.

2007年より『おおたか静流＆asian wings』にテルミンで参加。

2009年より今西紅雪（箏）とのアンビエントユニット『短冊』で活動。

2013年、ノルウェーを代表する現代作曲家Magnar Åmの作品

『Will this moment ever let go?』の初演に参加、ノルウェーと国内各地で公演。

同年ツインテルミンのサイケプログレユニット「andmo'」で

1st album『Unidentified Mystic Aether』リリース。

2018年、ABCテレビ『エージェントWEST!』に出演、WESTにテルミンを指導。

ジャンルレスで多彩な演奏活動に取り組み、多数のミュージシャンと共演を重ねている。
